One of the most interesting questions I often hear in my years of spiritual practice as Master Avantika, a spiritual guru who accompanies souls on their journeys, is whether people from our past lives can show up in this one. From what I’ve seen in countless karmic readings, soul readings, and ancestral healing sessions, the answer is yes.Through karma, love, and untaught lessons, souls frequently find their way back to one another.
Bonds Beyond a Lifetime
Strong bonds formed during a previous incarnation between two souls do not simply disappear when that life ends. Like the blessings and unsolved stories we inherit from our ancestors, it remains in the energy body, woven into the memory of the soul. This explains why so many of my clients talk about how they feel a strange sense of familiarity when they meet particular people. When someone you’ve just met feels like “home” or you experience an inexplicable intensity with them, it’s not a coincidence. These are the resurgence of connections from previous lives.
Soul Recognition and Emotional Reactions
I’ve seen clients get emotional when they first meet someone, and they can’t quite put their finger on why their hearts react so strongly. Some describe it as a magnetic pull, while others call it déjà vu. I’ve heard people say that even before they say a word, it feels like their soul recognizes the other person’s soul. These reactions aren’t made up; they’re just the soul’s way of bringing back memories that the conscious mind has overlooked.
Karmic Triggers and Unfinished Lessons
Although subtle, these connections are indisputable. You might feel comfortable right away, as if the relationship has progressed straight to trust without going through the awkward stages. Both point to the re-emergence of karmic ties, whether to restore what was left undone in a past lifetime, heal wounds, or continue love.
Past-Life Relationships Other Than Romance
Additionally, I’ve observed that past life relationships aren’t always romantic. They might reappear as mentors, family members, or even fleeting interactions with total strangers that profoundly impact our life.
Relationships are assessed by the soul not by roles but by progress and lessons learnt.
